I am Mette, in my 50’s, living in the calm Danish countryside near Arresø — Denmark’s largest lake. My home is peaceful, surrounded by trees, water, and open skies. I work as a kindergarten teacher, and that sense of warmth, calm, and creativity is part of everything I do — especially in my kitchen. All meals are made from scratch with care, and I have a particular passion for baking. Homemade cakes and desserts are a specialty of mine, and I love ending a good meal with something sweet and satisfying.
